Architectural design

Architectural Design is a fundamental discipline for the School.  For many of us, as architects, it is the founding and testing ground for many of our ideas regarding architecture and our extended intellectual disciplines.  Within the School we wish to take these lessons and explorations into architectural design into a broad range of projects, and the School’s position with respect to its connections with the profession, and our geographic location offers us an uncommon diversity of projects and opportunities.  These explorations range from the intimate social and cultural order of architecture, to the larger issues of urban design and land-use studies.
