Research

The School of Architecture and Building operates a multidisciplinary research program closely related to the architecture and building professions. The research program focuses on built environment design and building technology. Within the overall research program there are three broad areas, each of which has staff specialising in various aspects.

Research Opportunities

The School has established national and international connections with industry, research organisations and other universities which inform the research programs currently being conducted and enhance the potential for the development of research in new areas. Currently, the School is developing connections with researchers in other schools across the University to form cross-disciplinary teams specifically aimed at investigating environmental issues.
