Depending on your course, our flexible trimester system means you could start in Trimester 1 (March), Trimester 2 (July) or Trimester 3 (November). Apply for courses directly to Deakin for Trimester 1, 2 and 3 intakes. Head to the Deakin Application Portal, create an account and log in. Start your application, enter personal details, education experience, upload supporting documents, review and submit. For research degrees, apply via our research application page. Need help? What happens after you apply?
We’ll email you a receipt number after you complete your application. We’ll usually notify you of the application outcome via email within 10 working days, however, some courses may take longer.
Recognition of prior learning
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) turns your study and life experience into course credit that can reduce your study duration, as well as the cost of your tuition. We consider all university, TAFE and private tertiary education provider qualifications from around the world, as well as informal learning that relates to your course.
Deakin alumni discount
If you’re a Deakin alumni commencing a postgraduate course, you may be eligible to receive a 10% reduction per unit on enrolment fees.
