Riverina Institute and Deakin provide pathway students with the opportunity to enter university with Credit for Prior Learning of up to one and a half years towards a Bachelor's degree and Guaranteed Entry in specified courses.

The Deakin–Riverina Institute Pathways Program provides Guaranteed Entry pathways from TAFE to university in a growing range of disciplines subject to meeting reasonable minimum entry requirements.  Many students complete their first qualification at Riverina Institute, then transfer to Deakin University to complete their degree.

 The Deakin-Riverina Institute Pathways Program makes obtaining a local tertiary qualification even more affordable and accessible for students seeking flexible study choices closer to home in regional areas of the Riverina-Murray. The Deakin–Riverina Institute Pathways Program provides accessible higher education "at your own pace, in your own place, in the cloud or locally in supportive groups".
