At our on-campus clinical simulation centres you'll use case-based scenarios that will become more complex as your degree progresses. You'll build skills that are essential for safe patient care, such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and reflective practice skills.

Our Burwood facilities underwent a multi-million-dollar upgrade in 2022, including five new simulation wards, additional student practice spaces, treatment rooms and high-fidelity simulation spaces, meaning you'll have more access to facilities than ever before. You can also book the simulation centres outside of your classes to further practise your clinical skills.

We simulate real hospital and community environments, so you’re fully prepared for professional experience placements. Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment and technology, including:

- technologically advanced and responsive human patient simulation manikins
- suction outlets and cardio monitoring systems
- lifting machines
- resuscitation trolleys
- dressing packs and injection equipment
- web-based resources: online library access, journals and pharmacology resources.
