Extensive professional experience placement hours are embedded within many of our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, allowing you to work in real healthcare settings from your very first trimester of undergraduate study. Our strong network of partners gives you access to a wide variety of clinical learning experiences.
Learn in our state-of-the-art, purpose-built clinical simulation centres at our Melbourne Burwood, Geelong Waterfront and Warrnambool campuses. They contain purpose-built, flexible learning spaces and simulated clinical settings that provide a safe, supportive and realistic environment for you to develop core clinical nursing and midwifery skills.
Deakin University's Centre for Quality and Patient Safety partners with six major health services to improve patient experience and outcomes for over three million Victorians each year.
