Meet the Dean of Nursing and Midwifery
Professor Nikki Phillips has a wealth of experience facilitating the learning of both undergraduate and post-graduate nursing and midwifery students in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bhutan. Nikki has significant experience in problem-based student learning methods and inquiry-based learning. She is committed to quality nursing and midwifery courses that incorporate evidence-based practice, person-centred care, quality and risk management and improving patient outcomes.
We are ranked #14 in the world for nursing and top in Victoria for student experience. We have a proud history of developing highly employable and sought-after graduates and our school’s research is recognised as well above world standard, with a focus on improving health care quality and patient safety.
