Complete part of your undergraduate, postgraduate or research degree with Deakin's study abroad program and you'll earn credit points towards your degree back home. Choose to study one to two trimesters or complete a full academic year as an exchange student.

If your English language skills don't meet Deakin's requirements, you can study an English language course at Deakin.
The Deakin University English Language Centre (DUELI) is one of the best language schools in Australia, and offers many different courses to help you improve your English to gain admission to Deakin’s sought-after award courses.

We offer courses and subjects across all major disciplines. Some of our courses that are particularly in demand in South Korea include business, management and commerce.
You can work part time while you study
You'll be able to work up to 40 hours a fortnight while you're studying in Australia on a student visa. If you're not studying during Trimester 3 (our non-compulsory trimester) you can work unlimited hours. Here at Deakin, we have a service called Job Search Essentials that can help you get job ready and find part-time work.

Apply for your student visa online
As a student from South Korea, you may be eligible to study and live in Australia on a student visa. Once your student visa has been issued, it will be valid for your whole course of study (as long as you meet all your visa conditions). You can apply for your student visa online or with the help of one of our representatives in your country.
Australia might be famous for its sunny beaches, but we also have lush rainforests and mountain ranges that see snow in winter.
Our weather varies a lot – you'll want light clothes to wear in summer and a warm coat for winter (and don't forget clothes to wear to the beach).
