This quiet, stylish corporate centre includes an attractive lounge with bay views and several fully equipped boardrooms. Whether you’re planning a corporate meeting, workshop or team planning day, GCC has an event space to fit your needs.
A variety of spaces
GCC contains three boardroom-style meeting rooms can seat 8-16 people, an attractive lounge area and one multipurpose seminar room with expansive Corio Bay views that can seat up to 20 people, with an additional 10 observers.
Cutting-edge facilities
All our meeting rooms have Wi-Fi, an LCD screen, a whiteboard, in-room PC, VGA and HDMI connections, videoconferencing capabilities and a flip chart available. The Seminar Room also has a video projector and electronic whiteboard.

Getting to Geelong Waterfront Corporate Centre
The GCC is located in Deakin's Geelong Waterfront Campus, one hour's drive west from Melbourne's CBD and just 20 minutes from Avalon Airport.
Public transport
The closest train station to GCC is Geelong Train Station and it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the station to Deakin’s Geelong Waterfront Campus. Plan your journey on the Public Transport Victoria (PTV) website.
Various bus routes operate in Geelong, connecting the train station and other parts of the city to the Waterfront. Look for buses that specifically mention the Waterfront area
Car
Deakin Geelong Waterfront Campus is an hour’s drive from Melbourne CBD, depending on traffic.
Street parking is available with metered parking around the campus, as well as various free hourly (2, 3 and 4-hour) parking along Western Beach Road.
Car parking on campus is limited and in high demand. O-Park is our pay-as-you-go system. You can create an O-Park account and buy a ticket through the app.
Arriving at Geelong Waterfront Corporate Centre
Follow these steps to easily navigate your way to the Geelong Corporate Centre.
- Enter from the Sally Walker Building, entrance on Cunningham Street
- Make your way across the John Hay Courtyard to Building AD
- Take the lift to Level 4 and walk across the lobby to the GCC lounge.
