Content
This unit examines curriculum, learning environments, pedagogy and assessment approaches used in Vocational Education & Training Delivered to Secondary School Students (VDSS) programs which prepare people for life and work beyond school. Students apply their deep industry knowledge, their knowledge of effective applied learning principles and VDSS curriculum design to prepare an engaging and safe unit program which meets the outcomes of their own specialist VDSS industry area and demonstrates application of effective assessment principles. Students are required to work closely with their peers, colleagues or mentors to evaluate their curriculum. It will enable students to develop advanced knowledge and skills relevant to the planning, facilitation and assessment of their specialist VDSS industry area.
