Annual reports

As a public sector agency, Deakin University is required to submit an annual report to Tertiary Education Governance (Skills Victoria) for tabling in the Victorian Parliament, pursuant to the Financial Management Act 1994 (Vic). The report is prepared in accordance with reporting and disclosure requirements set annually by the Victorian Government (via Tertiary Education Governance (Skills Victoria)), encompassing the compliance requirements.

  • The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development in the State of Victoria 'The Annual Reporting Process - Guidelines for Institutions'
  • The Victorian Government's Guidelines provide that 'An annual report is the principal medium through which a University or other public institution must discharge their accountabilities to the Parliament, the Government and the people of Victoria'.
