Biography
Lassetter Shaw is a construction management teaching scholar in the School of Architecture and Built Environment at Deakin University.
He joined the faculty from industry bringing extensive experience in project/business management, construction, economics and administration from a wide range of projects in the residential, industrial, commercial, engineering and manufacturing sectors throughout the southern hemisphere. His teaching intent is to connect industry with academia that is current and relevant for the benefit of graduates, industry, our community and Deakin University.
Teaching interests
My teaching interests are very broad and primarly focus around students and what is valuable/current to aid their careers. I also base my teaching on the philosophy of, "theory into practice" while maintaining ethical and professional standards due to both my teaching and learning style and my extensive industry experience.
