You can meet with a Language and Learning Adviser to discuss ways of improving your approaches to university learning. These consultations are free.

Please note that consultations are teaching and learning sessions. Although we can help you to develop your own editing skills, Language and Learning Advisers do not offer a proof-reading or editing service.

Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus

Geelong Waterfront Campus

Melbourne Burwood Campus

Come to the The Learning Space, Building H, level 1 where there are quiet individual study zones, collaborative areas, computer facilities and a cafe. We are open Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm.

During Trimester 3 you can also drop-in for a short consultation with a Language and Learning Adviser:

• Monday: 12-2 pm.
• Tuesday: 10 am-12 pm
• Wednesday: 11 am-1 pm
• Thursday: 3-5 pm
• Friday: 10-12 pm

Further consultations with a Language and Learning Adviser can be arranged after the initial meeting.

Warrnambool Campus

Appointments for a consultation with a Language and Learning Adviser are available during Trimester 3: phone or call in to Student Life reception, Lower Level, Building B. Telephone 03 5563 3256.

Off-campus students

To make an appointment for a consultation via phone, email or eLive, phone 03 9246 8250 (International +61 3 9246 8250) at the Melbourne Burwood Campus. Once this is done, a Language and Learning Adviser will then contact you at the designated time.

Off-campus students are also welcome to meet with a Language and Learning Adviser in person at any campus.
