I shall be presenting the following seminars on reading and writing strategies
to help progress your research journey. If you are a new candidate
or wish to refresh your skills in these areas, I would strongly advise you
to attend. There will also be an international focus in these seminars.

This seminar discusses the strategies in which reading academic literature
can be an enjoyable, stimulating, smooth
and productive
process.

This seminar follows from reading strategies and
discusses the techniques of making notes. In the process it draws upon
techniques for quoting, paraphrasing, summarising, including
techniques for avoiding plagiarism.
