Language and Learning workshops

Language and Learning Advisers offer a comprehensive range of workshops during the trimester. These provide you with an opportunity to enhance your academic skills and boost your success in your studies at Deakin.

The workshops are informal, friendly and interactive and you are encouraged to ask any study and assignment related questions you may have.

You are invited to attend workshops on any campus that suits you.

Off-campus

Deakin offers a range of interactive workshops which are accessed online via eLive. eLive allows you to:

  • talk online in real time
  • chat via text online
  • share videos, presentations and applications.

Some prior preparation, such as loading software, is required by participants. More information and help with setting up, is available at http://www.deakin.edu.au/dso/student/elive/index.php.

There are free eLive sessions on various topics. Off-campus students are also welcome at all campus-based workshops.

Missed an eLive presentation? No worries! You can access a recording here:

You will need to log in with your username and password, and ensure the sound on your computer is turned on.
