Position: Associate Head of School (Teaching and Learning)
Faculty: Faculty of Health
School: School of Psychology
Alex is an Associate Head of School in Psychology and a lecturer in Behavioural Neuroscience and Professional Issues in Psychology.
Students of Psychology are faced with the difficult task of integrating knowledge across diverse theoretical perspectives and research traditions. This can make it difficult to form a coherent understanding of what it means to be 'evidence-based' in Psychology. The primary motivation behind my efforts and innovations in teaching and learning is to develop in our students a professional identity, one that integrates knowledge and practice in Psychology.
