Undergraduate (your first degree)
An undergraduate degree is generally completed between two to four years, depending on the pattern of study and any recognition of prior learning you may have. Associate degrees, bachelor and bachelor with honours are all undergraduate degrees.
Learn in world-class facilities
Gain authentic industry experiences in our $55 million engineering precinct, with access to state-of-the-art simulation systems, purpose-built labs and workshop learning spaces.
This includes the AusNet Services electrical engineering lab, Deakin’s renewable energy microgrid, 3D printing laboratory, high voltage lab, virtual reality laboratory (VR) and more. You will have access to infrastructure facilities for the design of buildings, transportation networks, water and wastewater systems.
One key reason I applied to Deakin is the university's emphasis on innovation and creativity instead of solely focusing on theoretical knowledge. I knew I'd be able to gain a lot of practical and hands-on experience which will undoubtedly help me in the future.
