There are a number of grants available to students completing internships. All have an application process which needs to be adhered to.
The WIL Support Bursaries program is designed to encourage and support domestic undergraduate students who come from low socio-economic status (SES) backgrounds to successfully undertake a discipline specific placement as part of their degree, and in particular, to help reduce financial barriers to gaining discipline specific work experience and maximise the graduate outcomes from those placements.
The May and Romeo Schiavon Endowment, managed by the ANZ Trustees, offers grants to support students in journalism to undertake an internship at a rural and regional newspaper in Victoria. The aim of these grants is to attract graduates to the regional news environment and strengthen regional media outlets. The one-off grants are to be used to assist with travel, accommodation and food costs.
If your placement is international please read the information found at Travel Grants
Please direct all enquiries to the Student Mobility Office.
