Instructions for connecting into colloquia via VMP

Colloquia Proceedings

The University has specific requirements around the time limits for colloquia. They are as follows:

Masters Degree

  • full time must be confirmed within 6 months
  • part time must be confirmed within 12 months

Doctoral Degree

  • full time must be confirmed within 12 months
  • part time must be confirmed within 18 months.

Video conferencing - Deakin campuses only

Video conferencing - external panel member connecting to Deakin system - please contact to arrange this

Voice point - joining in the colloquium by phone only (either internally or for external participants)

it's possible to join a VMP from anywhere via Jabber. Full instructions for using Jabber are available below.

Setting up a Jabber account. You will be provided with the appropriate VMP number when the colloquium is scheduled.
