Content

This unit allows you to explore architectural design thinking through the principles of advanced digital design communication processes and media. In this unit you will explore design visualisation skills and techniques that include the use of digital media, architectural visualisation, parametric modelling, visual scripting and computer aided fabrication. You will undertake three major interconnect project-based assignments that eventually produce a scaled model to demonstrate the potential iterative digital design media and prototype in Architecture. In the completion of this unit, students will gain advanced knowledge implementing parametric design techniques and expand their understanding of both analogue and digital modelling, visualisation and fabrication tools.
