Period Of Accommodation
Beginning Sunday 26 February, 2012 and concluding 12 Noon on Saturday 20 October, 2012 (unless otherwise specified).
Catering
The Burwood Student Village is self catered.
Payment Options
Automatic Deduction (Direct Debit) - through a nominated credit card or bank
account. When you accept online via the Residences portal, if you choose direct debit, a form will be mailed out to you which needs to be returned well in advance of the first payment.
On-line - using our secure transaction site www.deakin.edu.au/residences/egate
In Person - on-campus through the Cashiers Office.
Over the Phone - to the Cashier’s Office.

Notes
1) If paying accommodation fees according to the eight (8) instalment dates listed
above, payment must be made prior to the dates listed. Unless prior arrangements
are made with the Residence Manager, any fees outstanding after the dates will
attract a late payment fee of $50, cancellation of your meal plan and sanctions
imposed. Meal plan will be reinstated and sanctions removed once payment
has been made.
2) Unless there are exceptional circumstance surrounding departure, four (4)
weeks notice is required to leave Residence during the period of accommodation.

3) Residents who permanently vacate before the period of accommodation has concluded
will be charged at the casual rate. Refer to the Residences office for further
information.
4) Fees are subject to confirmation.
