Students will on average spend 150-hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.
This units investigates how the field of psychology is applied to the work of educators to better understand how people learn and become motivated to engage in educational activities. It considers key theories of educational psychology and examines how these theories have informed our understanding of learning and teaching in a range of educational contexts. The unit compares different approaches to educational psychology research as case studies, and applies examples of these approaches to analyse educational problems of practice.
