1 x 1 hour on-campus lecture (recordings provided) and 1 x 2 hour on-campus seminar each week
1 x 1 hour recorded lecture provided and 1 x 2 hour online seminar (recordings provided) each week
Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.
Topics to be addressed in this introductory finance unit include: What finance is and why it is important to individuals and businesses; Valuations: Discounted Cash flows technique, Financial Markets and Institutions, Valuation of bonds and shares, the Nature of Risk and Return, the Nature of Capital and International Finance.
