Students will on average spend 150 hours over the teaching period undertaking the teaching, learning and assessment activities for this unit.
This will include educator guided online learning activities within the unit site.

The unit aims to broaden students’ self-awareness and understanding of their career preparation, and support the development of tools and actions plans, and a range of communication capabilities necessary to be successful in both their business and personal lives.
The Professional Insight unit has been designed as a compulsory first year unit in Deakin’s undergraduate commerce programs. However, it may also be studied as an elective unit by students enrolled in other Deakin University courses where course rules allow. Please note: RPL for this unit may only be considered for students where MWL101 is a compulsory (core) unit of their course. RPL is not available for MWL101 as an elective unit.

Hurdle requirement: Students must successfully complete the online 'Introduction to Professional Identity' module before they can attain access to Assessment 2.
