Dr Dean Corva, Associate Research Fellow in neural engineering, won the prestigious Alfred Deakin Medal for his ground-breaking PhD project — developing a miniature deep brain stimulation (DBS) device with built-in artificial intelligence.
Refining nutrition for Australian abalone
Chethana is a PhD candidate in Deakin’s School of Life and Environmental Sciences, based at the Queenscliff Marine Science Centre. Her research aims to create optimum feedstock for Australian hybrid abalone.
