The Disability Resource Centre (DRC) is open from 10am–3pm at Burwood, Geelong Waterfront and Geelong Waurn Ponds, offering a quieter environment where you can chat with staff about accessibility, support and adjustments at Deakin.
We also support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, which helps visitors discreetly signal they may need extra assistance from trained staff and students.
Each campus offers a distinct experience. Waterfront is a collection of striking heritage architecture overlooking Corio Bay and is home to courses in health, nursing and the built environment. At Waurn Ponds, a spacious parkland setting surrounds our world-class engineering, science, medicine and elite sports facilities.
Students often travel between campuses for classes or to make use of shared spaces. Open Day is the perfect chance for you to experience both! Plus, with a free shuttle bus running between campuses, it's easy to visit both in one day.
Set in a park-like environment on the outskirts of Geelong, Waurn Ponds is accessible by car, public transport or bicycle.
