Value and duration

  • 20% of your total tuition fee (stated on your offer letter).
  • This bursary is available for the entire duration of your course.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible you must:

  • be an Indian citizen with a valid Indian passport
  • be residing in India at the time of application
  • apply through a Deakin authorised agent based in India
  • achieve an overall score of 60–74.99% in your undergraduate degree.

Conditions of eligibility

All eligibility criteria must be met for the bursary to apply. This bursary is conditional on accepting the terms and conditions outlined in your offer acceptance form.

If you’ve achieved an overall score of 75% or above in your undergraduate degree, you may be eligible for the Deakin India Merit Scholarship 25%.

This bursary is only available once you can travel to Australia and commence on-campus study.

How to apply

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will automatically receive a 20% fee reduction to the total indicative tuition fee stated in your offer letter. It will be applied to your student account after the census date. For more information email Deakin University South Asia office.
