Value and duration

  • 20% of your total tuition fees (stated on your offer letter).
  • This scholarship is available for the entire duration of your course.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible you must:

  • be a citizen of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Mauritius, Myanmar or Nepal
  • be residing in one of these countries at the time of application
  • apply through a Deakin authorised agent based in the same region
  • meet the entry requirements for your course, including English language requirements
  • have achieved an overall score between 70–74.9% in an undergraduate degree when applying for postgraduate study, or
  • have achieved an overall score between 70–74.9% in your 12th standard results (as specified by the Department of Education) when applying for undergraduate study.

Conditions of eligibility

You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65% throughout your studies to remain eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship is only available once you begin on-campus study in Australia.

All conditions must be met, and the bursary is conditional upon acceptance of the terms outlined in the acceptance form.

How to apply

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will automatically receive a 20% fee reduction to the total indicative tuition fee stated in your offer letter. This will be applied to your student record after the census date. For more information email the Deakin University South Asia office.
