A collaborative news production area with an editorial hub, workstations and monitors to stream live television news channels.
Sound recording booths for podcast production are part of the newsroom and creative media facilities for students.
Deakin's outside broadcast van enables students to work at off-site events. Students gain experience in live broadcast, interviewing players on the court and working in roles such as graphics mixer.
The sound studio features Grace and Audient mic preamps, has a range of Neumann, Rode and Sennheiser microphones and a control room featuring AVID Pro tools HD system.
