Upskill in your downtime

Microcredentials are designed to fit around your busy schedule, offering flexible ways of studying. There may be live events as part of your studies, but these will be recorded and can be watched afterwards if you aren't online for the live broadcast.

There are no prerequisite requirements for microcredentials, other than English language proficiency in some cases. However, they are designed for aspiring leaders looking to improve their ability and knowledge in their chosen field, so an undergraduate degree or relevant professional experience is recommended.

You'll build specialised skills relevant to your career without the time and cost commitment of a full degree. Deakin is a leader in the study areas offered, so you can be confident that you'll be learning from experts in the field.

Secure your place in the future of work

On successful completion of your microcredential, you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) across a range of postgraduate degrees at Deakin, giving you a head start in your higher education journey. You'll also earn a Certificate of Completion from Deakin University.
