Getting to the Melbourne Campus at Burwood

Tram
The number 75 tram from the city centre (Spencer Street station or Flinders Street station) to Vermont South stops right outside the Campus on Burwood Highway. The number 70 tram from the city to Wattle Park stops at the corner of Riversdale Road and Elgar Road, which is a 15 minute walk to the Campus or connects with the 767 bus.

Train/tram
Suburban train lines run to and from the city centre. Catch the Alamein line train to Hartwell station. Then catch the number 75 tram up Toorak Road which stops right outside the Campus on the Burwood Highway. The number 75 tram also connects with Hawthorn station which is on the Alamein, Lilydale and Belgrave lines; and Jolimont station which is on the Epping and Hurstbridge lines. The number 70 tram connects with Richmond station which is on the Sandringham, Frankston, Cranbourne, Pakenham, Glen Waverley, Alamein, Lilydale and Belgrave lines; Burnley station which is on the Glen Waverley, Alamein, Lilydale and Belgrave lines; and Riversdale station which is on the Alamein line.

Bus
The 767 Southland Shopping Centre to Box Hill Central bus services stops directly outside the Campus. The 732 Box Hill Central to Upper Ferntree Gully station bus service stops at corner of Station Street and Burwood Highway, which is a two minute walk to the Campus.

Bus/tram
The 733 Oakleigh to Box Hill via Clayton, Monash University bus service stops at the corner of Middleborough Road and Burwood Highway, which is a 10 minute walk from the Campus, and also connects with the number 75 tram. The 700 Box Hill to Mordialloc via Holmesglen TAFE, Chadstone bus service stops at the corner of Warrigal Road and Burwood Highway, which connects with the number 75 tram.

Train/bus
Buses connect with a number of suburban train stations. Bus number 767 departs from Box Hill station which is on the Lilydale and Belgrave lines; Jordanville station which is on the Glen Waverley line and Hughesdale station which is on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines. Bus number 732 departs from Box Hill station or Upper Ferntree Gully station, both of which are on the Belgrave line. Bus number 700 departs from Mentone, Mordialloc, Aspendale, Edithvale and Chelsea stations, which are all on the Frankston line; and Holmesglen station which is on the Glen Waverley line. Bus number 733 departs from Clayton station which is on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines; Mount Waverley station which is on the Glen Waverley line; and Box Hill station which is on the Lilydale and Belgrave lines.

Car
Parking is available at various open-air and undercover areas on the main Campus and at the nearby Elgar Road precinct. Car parking permits are required.

Bicycle
The Campus is connected to Melbourne's extensive system of bicycle trails. Bicycle racks are provided on Campus.
