Building AD Atrium Glazing - Waterfront Campus
The rooftop glazing in the central atrium of Building AD has reached end-of-life and will be replaced. The new high-performance skylight system will improve thermal performance and watertight integrity.
Commencement: Monday 13 July 2026.
Expected Completion: Late-September 2026.
The scope of this project includes:
- Demolition and removal of the existing single-glazed skylight and all associated framing and fixings.
- Installation of a new high-performance double-glazed skylight system.
Construction impacts:
- High-noise activity will occur while scaffolding is erected and dismantled on the following dates. Noise is expected to echo throughout the building; please consider working from an alternative location.
- Scaffolding erection: 13 July - 23 July
- Scaffolding dismantling: Mid to late-September (date to be confirmed)
- No access to the atrium area on the above dates. Access remains to the lifts and the alternative stairwell at all times.
- Scaffolding will be in place for the duration of the project which will fill the majority of the central atrium. This will create a visual impact, but we aren't expecting disruptive noise outside of the erection/dismantling stages.
- Contractors will be present in the building.
- Crane activity will be taking place on Cunningham Street, between the lawn and the services ramp.
