Rural Health Club (NOMAD)
For all students enrolled in Health and Healthcare related fields, the Rural Health Club (NOMAD) aims to provide various social events, networking opportunities, skill-building trips, seminars and volunteer opportunities particularly in relation to health care practice in regional, rural and remote regions of Victoria and Australia.
Deakin Nursing Society (DNS)
For all students enrolled in the Nursing and Midwifery courses at Deakin, the Deakin Nursing Society provides social events, networking opportunities whilst also functioning as an advocacy and learning resource.
Medical Students Society (MEDUSA)
For all Medical students, the Medical Students Society (MEDUSA) provides formal and informal events, academic support, professional development evenings and assistance with community and global outreach projects.
Deakin University Sport Studies Club (DUSSC)
For students enrolled in all Sports courses at Deakin, the Deakin University Sport Studies Club (DUSSC) aims to provide a social forum for all sports enthusiasts.
Sporting events and seminars are held throughout the year, and work and volunteer opportunities are emailed to members of the club.
Food and Nutrition Society (FANS)
For students enrolled in Food and Nutrition courses at the Melbourne Burwood Campus, the Food and Nutrition Society (FANS) holds social events throughout the year that enable similar minded food students from all year levels the opportunity to meet and interact.
FANS also offers career events that aim to lessen the divide between students and their potential employers.
