Examination locations for off-campus students
Off-campus exams for Melbourne and Geelong based students are generally conducted at exam venues close to the Burwood and Waurn Ponds campuses or at the campus itself. Warrnambool off-campus student exams are primarily conducted at the Warrnambool Campus. All off-campus students are required to nominate their exam venue from the list of available venues when enrolling:

Deakin University reserves the right to withdraw examination locations at its discretion and to allocate students to examination locations.
Deakin University is not obligated to use student-nominated examination supervisors.
In accordance with University Policy, restrictions including penalty fees will apply to late changes in off-campus examination arrangements. See Student Fees and Charges Booklet.
Remote exam locations
- Students who live more than 120 km from an Australian location should use the code 'REMO'.
- Students who are at present overseas, or who will be overseas at the time of the examinations, and are more than 120 km from an international location , should use the code 'OSEA'.
To change your exam location
To change or for confirmation of your remote exam location, contact the External Examinations Office at least eight weeks prior to the commencement of the examination period.
