Parent rooms

Every Deakin campus has a dedicated room where you can change your baby's nappy, heat up milk or breastfeed in a comfy chair. We also have baby change facilities in designated toilets on each campus.

Our parent rooms feature everything you'll need. For example, our Burwood parent room includes:

  • a comfortable chair and a highchair
  • a sink, microwave and fridge
  • a small play area for young children
  • toys and books
  • a lockable door and curtained off area if you'd like some privacy.

Accessing the room
To access the Melbourne Burwood parent room, you'll need to request access on your Deakin card. Please contact Diversity and Inclusion on +61 3 9244 6255 for any queries.

If you're driving to campus with your child, we suggest that you use the carpool area in car park 6, level 2 as there are no stairs there if you need to navigate with a pram.
