Why did you choose this area of study?

I am passionate about research on plants.

Why Deakin?

When I was looking for master's courses abroad, I came across Deakin at a study fair in Hyderabad, India. I learnt that at Deakin I could finish my master's in 1.5 years and that Deakin offers international scholarships to do research. These reasons made me choose Deakin.

What is the best opportunity you have had at Deakin?

Interacting with eminent scientists from various departments and universities.

Go for a walk along the ponds (of course at Waurn Ponds campus) on a warm sunny day with a coffee.

How has your experience at Deakin affected your life?

At Deakin, I have met wonderful people, the supervisors of my PhD. They are fantastic people at heart, always helpful and they have made me feel at home.
