Concessions
Did you know that Victorian Public Transport concession cards (VPT) only cost $9 for full-time tertiary students?
You can pick up a VPT application form Deakin Central, a local train station or download one off the Metlink website. Fill out the form and take it to Deakin Central to get it stamped and signed. Once it has been stamped and signed, take the form to a premium station where it will be processed. For a list of premium stations visit Metlink.

Students are NOT eligible to obtain a VPT concession card if they are:
- Enrolled in a Masters, Doctorate or other postgraduate course
- Overseas full-fee paying students (primary, secondary, tertiary)
- Studying part-time or off-campus
- Enrolled in a tertiary course which is less than ten weeks duration
