The exam timetable is published usually around week 10 of the trimester. Please visit StudentConnect to view your personalised timetable, which can be accessed via the portal.
Students may apply for special consideration if they believe an assessment will be adversely affected due to serious circumstances outside their control. The recognised grounds for applying are:
You must lodge an application (with supporting documentation) for special consideration online via Student Connect no later than three working days after the situation has occurred. If you have any questions about lodging your application using the online system, please contact your faculty office.
Please see the DUSA or the "How do I...?" website for more information.
The date for the release of trimester results is listed in your handbook . You can view your results online, and a statement of your results will be mailed to your listed address. Keep all your results as you may need to show them to Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) to apply for your new visa.
If you are dissatisfied with a final result of a unit, contact your faculty and/or submit a Review of Result application to your Faculty Academic Progress Discipline Committee (FAPDC) within 10 working days from the date of the publication of results. In some faculties you may be required to make a personal written request. Please contact your faculty for the application procedures for the review of results.
For more information, contact the Education and Student Support staff from DUSA on 9244 6356 or an International Student Adviser at the Division of Student Life.
Academic transcripts of your past results are available from Deakin Central at $20 per copy and $5 per additional copy. Upon completion of your course, you will receive a copy of your academic transcript at no cost.
Once your trimester grades have been released by Deakin, the Student Mobility Office will forward one free copy of your transcript to the address you have specified or to your university's study abroad office. Additional copies of your transcript can be organised at a nominal cost.
Students are only eligible to receive results in units they are officially enrolled in. Students will only receive their results after full payment of fees owed by the student.
