Cancelling or changing your temporary accommodation details

Please remember that whilst we can assist you to book temporary accommodation for your arrival in Australia, the cost of such accommodation must be paid for by yourself.

If you would like to cancel or change your accommodation arrangements, please email your accommodation provider directly using the email address that is provided in your Confirmation of Arrival (COA) email and CC our office at m-di-airport@deakin.edu.au with at least 48 hours notice of changes/cancellations so that we are able to notify the transport company.

In emergency situations where it is not possible to provide 48 hours notice please telephone our Airport Reception Coordinator on +61 409 947 800 (if you are outside Australia) or 0409 947 800 (if you are within Australia) to cancel your arrival reception service.

Unexpected things may occur during your actual journey.  If, whilst in international transit, you miss a connecting flight or your flight is delayed from an airport outside of Australia, telephone the Airport Reception Officer on +61 409 947 800 (if you are outside Australia) or 0409 947 800 (if you are within Australia) to advise your new arrival details.

Please note: Many accommodation providers require credit card details in order to book temporary accommodation. Many also have a 24 hour cancellation period. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee that you will be liable for.
