Friendship Family Scheme
The Warrnambool campus is home to one of Deakin's most successful programs
for international students - the Friendship Family Scheme. It gives international
students a chance to learn about Australian culture by establishing regular
contact with an Australian family. This may be as simple as having dinner
or shopping with the family, and is a fantastic opportunity to make friends,
be part of a family and learn about the Australian way of life. In addition, you
will be helping Australian families learn more about a different culture.
