Dr Paul Dennis Carter - Thesis title: "Eleven Seasons: A Creative Writing Journey Through Modern Australian Football."
Summary
This thesis offers a novel, `Eleven Seasons', that traces the physical and emotional journey of a young male footballer through the mid-1980s and mid-1990s. It also offers a comparative review of creative writing about Australian football, and a critical analysis of the book's creative gestation from idea to completed text.
Dr Leanne Marjorie Robinson-Mccarthy - Thesis title" "Authour-Reader Relationship at the Site of the Work."
Summary
This thesis explored the interaction between the author and reader and argued that literary meaning is the outcome of shifts in power between these two entities. It concluded that because these shifts in power are orchestrated by the author, the author is relevant to understanding how meaning is produced.
