The Psychology Lounge
Interdisciplinary Health Study Tour
The inaugural Interdisciplinary Health Study Tour is being organised for T3 (12-26 November, 2016) to Sri Lanka. This is a great opportunity for eligible second and third year students to receive funding and be part of a unique learning experience. This study tour will offer an inter-professional and intercultural learning environment where students will examine cross-cultural health and health care systems. Students will collaborate with peers from Schools within the Faculty of Health on developing solutions to context-specific health issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. The learning will occur while being immersed in the history, culture and beauty of Sri Lanka. Second and third year students in the Faculty of Health who have completed a minimum of 8 credit points are eligible to apply to gain 1 credit point towards an elective unit. Applications are now open.
