Education leadership at Deakin focuses on leadership as a means of facilitating social justice outcomes and enhancing student learning. It's founded on the principle that leadership consists of a multiplicity of practices that should respond to local circumstances in ways that embrace gender, race and cultural diversity.
Students engage critically with current research to make informed choices about leadership approaches for their workplace and circumstances. Authentic assessment allows students to work on real-life issues within their workplaces.
