Deakin Medical Centres provide youth-friendly medical services for students and staff. The doctors and nurses are experienced and skilled health care professionals who aim to provide cost effective and confidential (private) health care.
The health-related needs of people with a disability, international / exchange, residences, mature age, off campus and country students are equally important.
The practice can also be contacted via email at askanurse@deakin.edu.au please note though if you wish to contact the practice via this website that sensitive, clinical information should not be transferrred in this way. No medical test results or advice will be provided via this email address.
There may also be a delay in obtaining a response to your query therefore if the matter is urgent please go to Student Life reception for assistance to make an appointment with either a nurse or doctor.
Confidentiality is strictly maintained and all consultations are non judgemental, inclusive and provided within a caring environment.
Deakin Medical Centre staff may also act in a support and advocacy role and refer clients to other service providers either within the University or Student Life including Counselling, Housing, Chaplaincy, Financial Assistance, Study Skills or Job Shop or externally to private health practitioners or specialist clinics.
