Academic progress - Faculty or School proposal to restrict

A Faculty / School proposal to restrict letter may be sent to you to assist in better managing your academic progress.  View a sample proposal to restrict letter (87 KB).

If you have received a proposal to restrict letter, the Faculty / School is working with you to implement a strategy to improve your performance.

The Faculty may propose that you be restricted in the number of units you can enrol in per Trimester, the Faculty / School may propose that you enrol in and pass a certain number of units or the Faculty / School may propose to preclude you from taking certain units.

Please read this letter carefully and respond by the deadline.

You will be given an opportunity to accept or not accept the Faculty's proposal.

Once the Faculty has made a decision, make sure that you comply with any restrictions on your enrolment. You may face automatic exclusion if you do not comply.

If you are not satisfied with the Faculty decision, you may appeal to the University Appeals Committee to have the decision reviewed.
