Virtual and augmented reality

Fantastic integration has given Deakin the leading edge in virtual reality. Our DUVR-virtual reality lab provides a fully-immersive space to explore designs in either a cave or CAD wall type environment with haptic feedback when required. Students, industry and the wider Deakin community can take advantage of this unique space.

Whether you want to learn the technology and methods yourself or need some additional expertise on your next design project, we are here to help.

Access the lab

To obtain access to the lab and its equipment, please refer to commencing a project.

You must have completed the following prior to using the laboratories:

• Online lab safety training modules.
• Local area induction session.
• Equipment specific induction.
• Project safety assessment.
