How does a double degree work?
A double degree, sometimes referred to as a combined degree, allows you to study two degrees at the same time. A double degree doesn’t increase your workload. Each trimester, you’ll study the same number of units as you would in a single degree while enjoying the diverse mix of study topics that come with a double degree. When you graduate, you’ll receive two certificates for each of the degrees you’ve completed.
How much does a double degree cost?
A double degree can significantly reduce the cost of study when compared with studying each degree separately. Visit course pages you’re interested in for specific information on course fees.
How long does it take to complete a double degree?
By focusing more on core units and less on elective units, a double degree can significantly reduce the duration of study when compared with studying each degree separately. In many cases, you can graduate with a second degree in as little as one extra year of study.
For example, if you completed the Bachelor of Health Sciences and Bachelor of Arts separately, it would take you six years of full-time study (three years for each degree). By studying the Bachelor of Health Sciences/Bachelor of Arts double degree, you can graduate with the same two qualifications in just four years of full-time study.
