Short Term Partner Programs

Short term experiences with a long term impact!

Undertaking a Short Term Partner Program at Deakin is a fantastic way to fast-track your degree by studying overseas while receiving Deakin credit points. You may be able to study Psychology in the UK, Healthcare in Mexico, Law in the Czech Republic or Finance in South Korea. With many programs on offer the opportunities are endless!

Short Term Partner Programs are courses offered by either Deakin's Partner Universities or approved hosts. Each program has been carefully selected by Deakin University staff to ensure they are of a high quality, while also being suitable to count towards your degree (dependent on faculty approval).

The programs run between two and six weeks in either the inter-trimester break (June/July) or during Trimester 3 (November-February).

Travel Grants

Below you will find the full list of T3, 2017 travel grants. Click on each link for more information on the program. Travel grants will be given to the students with the highest WAM and will be contacted by Deakin Abroad once everyone is committed and enrolled in the program.

*$1,000 grants will also be offered by the Deakin Business School to Business School students who are attending a short term partner program.
In order to receive these funds, students must meet the following criteria: · You must have applied to study abroad in 2017 and also be participating in a 2017 unit (T1, T2 and T3).
· You must be enrolled in a Deakin unit and studying a Deakin Business School (DBS) degree (or a double degree with Business) in order to receive these funds. Business School (DBS) degree (or a double degree with Business) in order to receive these funds. E.g. Bachelor of Business, Master of International Accounting, Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Commerce.
· If you withdraw from your Study Abroad program you will be required to return these funds to Deakin University.
· If you have received any other funding from Deakin for your Study Abroad (not including OS-Help) you may not be eligible – please contact bl-abroad@deakin.edu.au to confirm.
· Grants are limited and are on a first-in, first-served basis.

Deakin Abroad will contact you with the next steps once you submit your application.
