Visa conditions and responsibilities
All international students must comply with the conditions associated with their student visa, as failure to do so may lead to the cancellation of their visa.
If an apparent breach of visa has occurred, an email of notification will be sent to the student's Deakin email account and, if it is registered with us, the student's personal email account and to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP). This email will outline the details of the breach and the possible cancellation of the student's visa and its consequences. Students should ensure that they read their Deakin email addresses regularly and that they update the University with their most recent personal email address.
