Licensing and subscription
We can consult with you to work through copyright issues with teaching, presentations, team/faculty projects and student assessments. It helps to have an expert identify potential copyright issues early before they become a problem. Contact the Copyright Office to arrange a consultation.
Library Licensing staff also provide consultations on how to use our subscribed resources. Contact our Publisher Licensing Consultant to arrange a consultation.
We can present lecture-style information sessions for your team, department, faculty or class. We recommend 60 or 90 minute sessions to ensure the session isn't rushed and there is time to ask questions. Subject areas we have pre-prepared sessions for include:
- Copyright and teaching
- Copyright, social media and events
- Copyright research and industry engagement
- Copyright and your thesis
- Copyright and publishing
- Copyright and video production
- Copyright: Music and images in film (for students)
- Copyright and blogging (for students)
We can also tailor a session to suit your needs. To arrange a session, email us with the following:
- What you would like us to cover
- Session length
- Target audience and approximate numbers
- Campus location(s)
If a lecture-style information session isn't suitable, we can meet with you, your staff or your students for a Q&A session. This is casual and direct way to learn about and resolve specific copyright issues. Whether it's a discussion over a coffee, as part of a staff meeting or part of a class, we're available to help.
